Hello I am Anthony of the Gower Wood Company. Welcome to my website.
I am a self taught and passionate woodworker, although I have no formal training, I have practiced and honed my skills over the past 20yrs or so!. I am based in the beautiful Gower Peninsula, South Wales where I work from my purpose built workshop.
Our History

It was not until the summer of 2017 that I decided to start my own company, and put my designs and products out there for sale, however if you like my styles but any item is not quite right, I would be delighted if you would like to get in touch and we can discuss a bespoke item for your home. As well as design and builds I am also a keen advocate of an "up-cycle" or a "built in" both of which have proved very popular with clients.

All my products are made to order, so delivery will always take a few days, at point of order I will be in touch to discuss time lines and deadlines that would be suitable for you, or if you require more info or photographs of any piece, feel free to get in touch and I will be delighted to help you in any way possible. I will make every effort to protect your goods during shipping, but cannot be held responsible for items damaged during transit.

Quality assured
My outdoor garden furniture is made out of pressure treated timber to withstand our inclement British weather. Each chair is hand built to a highly refined standard by myself in my pupose built workshop.

Whenever you contact the Gower Wood Company it will always be myself you are dealing with with so you can be assured of a one on one personal service.

Made to order
All my products are bespoke items hand made to order, at point of order I will be in touch to discuss our current lead times. As well as to confirm any Bespoke adjusments you may require.
Our Values
Quality above all else
I do not out source any of my work. Each peice is turned, cut, sanded, shaped and painted by my own two hands. This ensures that every piece meets my own expected high standards for maximum quality and shelf life. Nothing is rushed or mass produced by machines. Where screws and bolts have been used they are either stainless steel or specifically designed for outdoor use, and all screws are then "plugged" over as standard both for aesthetics and extra protection of the screws. While this generally increases lead times I belive this is a small sacrifice for the quality anf longevity of the end product.
